Holding each other’s hands and never letting go.

Looking beyond the imperfections and supporting each other’s decisions.

Having someone to rely on when you’re down.

Being comfortable with each other’s company.

By looking at the footprints, I can imagine Ate Eiffel (my cousin) walking in the aisle wearing her beautiful gown on her wedding day in the future. I took the first photo, the rest of the pictures were grabbed from Facebook. They’re so sweet. I didn’t ask for their permission if I can post their pictures in my blog.. if they see this, I might get killed.
Together with my mother, we went to Metrogate Clubhouse to attend the reception. My mother was busy so we were not able to go to the wedding at the church. At the reception, I recognized the host because he was a former teacher at my school, St. Paul College of Bocaue.. he is Mr. Lemuel Santos, an English teacher for a year. Then, I saw my cousins. And my uncles and aunties. We went home after eating since we were the first ones to be there.
As I was eating my snacks during the morning break, one of my teachers called out for me personally. I hid my donut behind my back as I follow him because it’s forbidden to eat inside the classroom. At first, I was nervous, I thought I had done something wrong, thus, suspecting that I’ll be scolded. I was relieved when he spoke.
Sir: What is your middle name?
Me: A, Avanceña po.
Sir: So you know that we are distant relatives, aren’t we?
Me: *smiling* Yes.
Sir: I was waiting for you to approach me. I even asked and searched for you.
Me: *speechless and still smiling, I don’t know what to say*
I knew that we were 3rd degree cousins last year, when I was in second year. Thanks to his father who came to the funeral of my uncle and my grandpa. My mother was able to talk to him and they informed me about my teacher. I really can’t believe it since it will be the first time to have a relative who is a teacher at the school I’m studying. Anyway, we will meet tomorrow. ICT, and you know who I’m referring to. :)
